The WalletConnect Pay Merchant Dashboard is a tool that allows merchants to create a WalletConnect Pay account, monitor transactions, perform KYB, and facilitate off-ramps.

How to get started

To get started as a Merchant, you need to create a WalletConnect Pay account. You can do this by signing up on the Merchant Dashboard. After creating an account, you will be able to access the Merchant Dashboard. You will need to provide your KYB information to the PSP you are working with. This is a mandatory step for any merchant to ensure compliance with regulations.

Merchant Onboarding Flow

Account Registration

The merchant enters their email address and creates a password to begin the registration process.

Email Verification

The merchant receives a verification email to confirm their email address.

Dashboard Login

The merchant verifies their email and logs into the dashboard using either their credentials or Google Auth.

Transit Account Provisioning

WalletConnect Pay provisions a Transit Account crypto wallet for the merchant.

Permission Signing

The merchant signs a message to grant WalletConnect Pay permits on their Transit Account.

POS Device Linking

The merchant links their POS device by entering the POS ID.

KYB Processing

WalletConnect Pay or the KYB provider processes the Know Your Business (KYB) verification.

KYB Result (Decision Point)

The system evaluates the KYB result, which leads to one of two paths:

KYB Approved

The KYB is approved. The merchant is ready to accept crypto payments.
  1. The merchant receives a successful onboarding email
  2. The dashboard updates to show the merchant is ready to accept crypto payments

KYB Failed

The KYB failed.
  1. The KYB fails with reasons provided by the KYB provider
  2. The dashboard shows the failure and requests updated KYB information
  3. The merchant updates their KYB details and resubmits
